If you are looking for a high quality physiotherapy service then click above or ring to book an appointment now.  It’s as simple as that for our private patients, there is no need for referrals, scans, GP visits – just book in and we’ll do the rest.

Body Plus Physio has had a long relationship with many Private Health Insurance organisations.  We are currently preferred providers for BUPA and Medicare Private which allows members to access our services with greater coverage, meaning smaller gap payments.  We are also members of the “More for Muscles” program with HCF which provides members with a gap-free initial consultation at our clinic. We use the HICAPS system for our insured customers to allow you to claim on the spot and there is an EFTPOS service to make it easier for gap payments.  If you are unsure of your coverage the HICAPS system can provide a quote beforehand.   There is no need for a referral if you have Private Health Insurance.

Physiotherapy is a funded allied health service under Medicare. This means you can access our services and receive a Medicare rebate. This is called the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program and allows for a total of 5 sessions in a calendar year. There are certain criteria that must be met, including needing a valid referral from your GP to us. We understand this system can be complicated and would request you ring or email us with queries concerning the EPC program. The full details of the program can be found on the Medicare website.

Please contact us directly or through your plan-manager to discuss the type of physio service you are wanting to receive. Before your first visit, we will confirm with you that you are either a self-managed or plan-managed NDIS client. At your first visit you will complete a service agreement and we will create a plan to help you achieve your health goals. You will also need to provide a copy of your current NDIS Plan’s dates and the goals so we can best address your needs.

Unfortunately, accidents and injury can happen at work, but help is available thanks to WorkCover Qld. Body Plus Physio works closely with WC to get you back to work as quickly as we can. If you do suffer an injury at work, please contact your GP first as you will need to organise a referral and a medical certificate. Our physio’s are very experienced in dealing with WC clients and understand all the rules and regulations involved. If you do have more questions, please call us so we can provide the answers.

All our physiotherapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Medicare, making them qualified to provide physiotherapy services to all DVA card holders. The only thing we do require is that you have seen your GP first to get a referral to us for the specific area you need treatment for. The rules concerning DVA funding are often changing, so feel free to contact our rooms if you have any questions.
